Tristan is originally from England and spent his high school years in Florida. He just graduated
from Kenyon College where he played all four years on the Men's Tennis Team and helped lead the team to
the National D-3 Indoor Team Championships and the #1 ranking in the country in 2013. Tristan was the
Team Captain in 2016-2017.
In 2016, Tristan was the Division III NCAA Mens Tennis Doubles Champion and finished the year ranked #1 in doubles.

KTA/NATC is proud to offer the only USTA Certified High Performance Tennis Program in Central Ohio
that is open to the public. We are also the only club in Central Ohio with a proven pathway from Little Tennis (age 4)
all the way to the ATP and WTA Tours. In fact, three of our club pros are currently active touring pros with world rankings
on the ATP or WTA tours.
The skills and research required to accomplish this and everything we learn from our players competing at the pro level
greatly benefits everyone we teach at all skill levels.
Many clubs say they offer High Performance or Elite Junior Programs, but have no actual certified High Performance
coaches at their club. The High Performance designation requires invitation by the USTA National Coaching Staff to
a 50 hour, week-long, High Performance Specialty Course, plus ongoing continuing education. Coach Paul Kobelt
completed his HP Specialty Course in 2003 and has received over 1500 hours of Continuing Ed. All of our staff benefit from
constant training from Paul, and each other, which keeps us all current with "best practices" in tennis coaching.
* No Initiation Fee, Club Membership or Long Term Commitment Required!
* Make-Up Days Available. * Join in at Any Time with Fees Pro-Rated.
Updated Billing Policy / New "Club Automation" Launch: All players are required to pay for each activity in advance, on the day of the activity, or, with your approval,
NATC will keep your credit card on file and charge any unpaid activities to your credit card on the 5th of the
month following the activities. You will first receive a club statement by e-mail on the 2nd of the month.
Congrats To Our Awesome Juniors! For the 9th straight year, New Albany Tennis Center had the most junior players
of any Columbus tennis facility competing in the GCTA Area Qualifier!
We only have 8% of the indoor courts in Columbus, but we are proud to have developed
over 15% of the top junior players, year after year!
7 NATC / KTA Coaches Attended Special "10 & Under Workshops" In 2009, NATC was the first club in Central Ohio to fully implement 10 & Under / QuickStart Tennis into it's curriculum. To continue to offer the best 10 & Under program possible, Paul Kobelt, Alvin Cheng, Ryan French, Eric Spohn, Silvia Ebenezer, Bethany Bird and Ryan Shutt all attended one or both special 3-hour "10 & Under Workshops" at Otterbein College on May 15 and September 19 of 2012. The workshops were conducted by Leah Friedman, a USTA National 10 & Under Trainer from Chicago. She introduced the USTA's newest 2012 curriculum for 10 & Under Tennis. NATC / KTA is proud to have had the most coaches of any Columbus club at the Workshops. Since then, our staff has continued to attend multiple workshops to keep up to date with the latest training methods.
